Hi all, I would like to replace one of our new perfsonar node from the new test IP to the existing production IP.
I plan to do the following: 1.
Prepare new ip/hostname ssh host-keys for both hosts (swap) not activated yet 2.
Updating both systems and reboot 3.
Switch into single user mode (/sbin/init 1) and start network (I can do this in an IPMI console) 4.
Save /opt/esmond, /opt/perfsonar_ps, and /opt/rh, /var/lib/pgsql, on both servers 5.
Copy (exchange) data from both servers 6.
Shutdown the network, swap cables and activate new network for both servers 7.
Reboot both servers Is there anything that I miss or overlook? Thank you for your help. Zhi-Wei Lu IET-CR-Network Operations Center University of California, Davis (530) 752-0155 |
