Ah ok, so the GUI is setting it wrong. I think this is the case of a bug being fixed in one place but not the other. In 3.4 receive_only and send_only were incorrectly swapped for some tests (not all, which was extra confusing). We fixed that so their meanings is consistent amongst all tests. It looks like that change was not properly reflected in the GUI for ping tests. We can fix that easy enough.

Now looking at the box which is still on 3.4, it also has "receive_only 1"

It seems that there was a bug fix in 3.5, which changed the behaviour of
"receive_only" and "send_only" to how they were originally intended to
work; except that the GUI configuration of ping and traceroute tests
hasn't been updated to match.

So I'd suggest that the GUI be changed to write "send_only" for bwping
and bwtraceroute tests. Ideally, when a system is upgraded from 3.4 to
3.5, the existing configuration would also be updated automatically.
