Hey Brian;

This is probably a ‘better late than never’ sort of answer, but I put up a
quick page on nuts and bolts of UDP testing here:

http://www.perfsonar.net/deploy/udp-testing/

Basically if you are going to get it working between you and someone else,
you both need to turn your keys at the same time to allow that sort of thing
at the daemon level. Its a couple of line change to a configuration file for
both parties, then a restart of the service.

As for finding a coalition of the willing, it never hurts to just search the
directory (http://stats.es.net/ServicesDirectory/) for some host on a network
you want to test with, and drop them a line asking for what you want to do.
Sweeten the deal and send them the mods they need to make to their limits
file to allow your subnet, etc.

Good luck;
