Yes, removing files in /var/lib/perfsonar/regular_testing is the way to go.
Those should be just temporary, used while the data gets loaded into the database.
They should have been removed automatically.

Dear *,

Our latency perfsonar box broke with the 3.4 upgrade & so far I can't get
it fixed. Now nothing much can be done since the root filesystem is out of
inodes, one of my UK colleagues said he also saw this on his perf.v3.4 box

root@lcgnetmon> df -i
Filesystem            Inodes   IUsed  IFree IUse% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/vg_lcgnetmon-lv_root
                     9478144 9478140      4  100% /
tmpfs                 187214       1 187213    1% /dev/shm
/dev/sda1             128016      66 127950    1% /boot

Any attempt to do much results in "No space left on device"

All perfsonar services are chkconfig'd off & the box rebooted. Now where
are likely zillions of tiny probably old files to delete to free up
inodes? Hopefully the perfsonar experts will know!

Found one candidate: /var/lib/perfsonar/regular_testing

Nearly 4000 directories with empty .powlock file inside

Will delete all older than 30days - where are other good candidates?

VERY GRATEFUL for advice!
