Has there been any thought into incorporating the NLNog ring toolkit (
https://ring.nlnog.net/toolbox/ ) into perfSonar? Setting up a ring node got
me thinking about how this could be a potentially useful add-in to the
perfSonar toolkit (and be one less host to maintain). Admittedly it is a bit
of a different set of features, however, being able to utilize the ring tools
could be very useful for those that don't meet the requirements for becoming
a ring node. It could also potentially add a very large set of existing test
and data points available to a far larger audience.
I know that the development future of perfSonar is a bit up in the air, this
could be a possible mechanism keeping perfSonar in the forefront of use.
