perfSONAR User Q&A and Other Discussion

Dear all,

just got ls running on openSUSE 11.1.

For your information:
I installed the package with

    rpm -ivh --nodeps --noscripts  geant2-java-xml-ls-1.3-12.noarch.rpm

I used "--nodeps" to get rid of the messages that tomcat5 hasn't been 
installed
and "--noscripts" to avoid trying to start tomcat5,
since tomcat6 has been started already via yast2 -> System -> System 
Services (Runlevel) -> tomcat6

Then I did a:

    ln -s   /usr/lib/perfsonar/srvices/geant2-java-xml-ls    
/usr/share/tomcat6/webapps/geant2-java-xml-ls

Seems to work now.
