Hi again

1) could you show us your /etc/init.d/tomcat5 script
2) do you have CATALINA_BASE env variable set up statically in your system?

Hello Frederic,

Can you point a web browser at

http://127.0.0.1:8180/perfSONAR-RRD-MA-2.0/services/MeasurementArchiveService

and tell us what you see?
After RRD-MA installation and a start/stop of the tomcat server: This page report: "Axis Error No service is available at this URL"

Ideally, you should replace 127.0.0.1 with the actual ip or hostname of the machine you are trying to access.

If you don't see anything, you might want to just type http://127.0.0.1:8180 and check if tomcat is running
tomcat is running (I can access the TOMCAT welcome page)

(again, please replace 127.0.0.1 with the actual ip or hostname)

Loukik.

However, when I re-deploy the RRD-MA web service after a tomcat stop and then start. The "ant test" is valid.
And I can observe the following message (using http://127.0.0.1:8180/perfSONAR-RRD-MA-2.0/services/MeasurementArchiveService)

MeasurementArchiveService

Hi there, this is an AXIS service!

/Perhaps there will be a form for invoking the service here.../

The thing is that I don't want to perform a "deploy" each time tomcat or the server hosting tomcat is rebooted...

So How can I make this "persistent" and "reboot proof" ?
Any suggestion ?
