Hi,
as your products are part of 3.1 and will be deployed for LHC, the SD is asking to run some regular checks to ensure that the main components used to offer the services are either working or that they are accessible.
We need from you, for your tools, for the 24th of April, the list of checks you are planning to do.
Examples of internal checks:
o for the BWCTL MP: the bwctl daemon is running, etc.
o for the LS: XML Database connection: check if it is possible to connect to database through perfsonar service; Data store access: check if data store is accessible and well structured, and Control store access: check if control store is accessible and well structured
As well as the commands, embedded in your code, you would run to make those checks. Those commands will be called by a daemon on a regular basis.
Those commands will have to be implemented for release 3.1, so that the SD can use them for the deployment on the LHC-OPN meeting.
Best regards,
--
Nicolas
