Fro Zagreb, we are asking you to identify
1) the main resources that are required by your service to offer some functionality to the user and
2) to identify how you can check that it is accessible/still working

You will be presenting the checks in Zagreb during the session: http://wiki.perfsonar.net/jra1-wiki/index.php/JRA1_Meeting_-_Zagreb#Web-service_diagnosis

Nicolas,

I feel this request comes a bit too late. Don't you think? The meeting is starting next week so there is not much time left for developers.

I don't think it is too late IMHO, at least not to start and identify the main components that need checking.

It shouldn't require too much time as teh question to ask is : if my web-services is up, what could go wrong internally for an user not to get what he is expecting. (out of scope: data not available bcs not in the database).

The expertise of the developer should be sufficient as they know the service by heart :)

That's even better if some way of identifying on how to test the issues.

Initial lists have already been provided for Hades, BWCTL MP and Telnet/SSH MP.

Cheers,
Nicolas

Regards,
