Maciej;

Yep. After a few "Internal Server Error" messages I finally browsed month by month the archive. I found the e-mail.

It seems we've defined 5 queries:

1) get the addresses of services registered in the LS;

2) get the addresses of services registered in the LS and having a
given type (e.g. utilization MA, Hades MA, etc.);

3) get the addresses of services, registered in the LS, having a
given type and providing info for a given data point (e.g. IP
interface address);

4) get the full list of data points for a given service;

5) get the full list of data points for all registered services;

Does somebody have any other idea (for specific needs)?

Other queries of interest (although these may be related to the previous 5 in some way):

1) Get a list of services having data related to a specific domain (i.e. I may not care about the source, but I want data that deals with ESNet).

2) Get 'age' of data (last time a service has updated with the LS, perhaps even returning a time range of data the service is maintaining).

3) Perhaps getting a 'count' of services per domain, or data relating to a domain.

I can think of a couple of more, but they wouldn't be possible with the current LS. It would be interesting to see what kinds of queries an LS receives, and from where. Maybe having the ability to keep track of statistics like this would be helpful for optimizing the common cases.
