Well, just to clarify, I am working on classes to create these requests. 
The thing I need is example queries to the LS. I want to put some of the 
most useful queries (XQuery) into one or several classes. Then you'd be 
able to use these classes to create your requests.

You don't need to send XQuery, rather what your applications need to 
query LS for.

I remember the discussion with Jeff and Vedrin some time ago, but a 
couple of days ago I lost all my e-mail at work (HDD crash) and can't 
recall the discussion :( (I think I'll be able to recover some data from 
backup copies, but...)
