We are hearing from the community that they are interested in learning about DDoS mitigation strategies and tools. On behalf of Internet2 Network Services, the Quilt and the Internet2 Security Working Group, I am pleased to announce that on Tuesday, November 17, 2:30-3:30 ET, we will have a webinar led by Dan Dargel, University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Michael Hare, University of Wisconsin-Madison and they will talk about FastNetMon and other tools that they are using to detect, monitor and respond to DDoS attacks. This will be a more technical talk so please send this along to those within your organizations with interest in hearing about these tools. Please mark your calendars for that day. We will send call details soon. In the meantime, please let me know what questions you have. Thanks.
