Why do we recommend NDT by the Internet2 research group?

Simple answers:

They don't have a horse in the race.
They don't monetize your eyeballs.
NDT can spot problems in your connection the other sites can't, thus
providing you with a professional indication of what to do to improve
your connection, paid for by your tax dollars.
