Yeah, we've worried about that too. :)

My understanding is that they are in the process of a setting up...
umm... more robust support for SAML.

Chances are they are making certain assumptions about the content, or
layout, of the SAML that you aren't making. This would certainly be
likely if they are in fact using a template based approach. I don't
know anything about their current code however to know what they're doing.
