Not as often on this as with the Shibboleth, thankfully.  This has code

Yeah, definitely don't start with OpenSAML 1.1.  There is nothing in 
common with the design of that library and the 2.0 library.

It'll be publicly available.  Best ways to get involved:

- Write unit tests and submit them via Jira, our bug/issue tracking site
- Help fix bugs people submit and submit patches via Jira
- Help write/correct documentation
