Anyway, the Shibboleth Wiki now includes an OpenSAML topic. Editing requires
registration, agreeing to the copyright terms, which means Internet2 can
freely use any contributions, and me adding the WikiName to the right group.

You need a SAML IdP that can assert the eduPersonPrincipalName attribute to
log in. Conveniently, one exists that anybody can obtain an account in under
any username you wish by verifying your email address, mailing list style.
