This is the final significant revision before work on 2.0 begins, supports
pretty much everything in SAML 1.0 and 1.1, and has expanded support for the
browser profiles and the SOAP 1.1 binding, as well as support for JDK 1.3,
1.4, and 1.5, and all versions of gcc from 3.0 to 4.0.
