Your best bet is probably to look at the Shibboleth source (http:// shibboleth.internet2.edu/). There's a lot there that isn't OpenSAML, but it shouldn't be too hard to find the connection points.

Thank you Tom, that helps.

I'm trying to decide whether to use opensaml or create my own method of creating/parsing a small subset of saml2.0 based messages. Are there any small working demos available that demonstrate the use of opensaml? The POSTProfileTest is helpful, but is there a complete working demo?
Thanks.

This is a common question...perhaps it should be added to the FAQ:

http://www.opensaml.org/faq.html

When will opensaml be modified to support SAML2.0?

I don't know but OpenSAML 1.1 isn't even out the door yet so it may be a while.

There are only three open-source implementations of SAML 1.1 core that
I know of:

OpenSAML 1.0.1 (Java/C++)
http://www.opensaml.org/

SourceID SAML 1.1 Java Toolkit 2.0
http://www.sourceid.org/projects/saml-1.1-toolkit.html

SAMUEL (Java)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/guanxi/

OpenSAML and SourceID have previously announced SAML 2.0 toolkits by
Dec 2005 and summer 2005, respectively, but full 2.0 compatibility is
a long way off…

Hope this helps,
Tom
