There should be a README in cvs, and right now, a cvs checkout is the
only useful way to play with the code. There is documentation on the
site for getting the code out that way.
There is no "demo" per se, and you don't need SOAP or a web server to
use the code, though the only defined bindings and profiles do involve
HTTP and/or a web server. SOAP is only used internally.
Building the code just requires a JDK or a C++ compiler like gcc 3.x or
MSVC++.
