Hey James, All;

To followup from the call today - the Internet2 communications staff would be happy to help go over this (or if there are proposed changes) before sending anything to international partners. If there is a quorum on this text I can send it along, or I can wait a bit until the details are hammered out.

Thanks;

The following is going out via the January Internet2 Member Update
newsletter either today or tomorrow. Perhaps we can use this as
fodder for a similar message to the international community as well.

K20 Initiative Launches a Remote Instrumentation Working Group

Members of the Internet2 K20 Initiative are interested in learning
more about how remote instruments are being used within the Internet2
membership community. In coming weeks, working group team members will
be reaching out to investigators using remotely accessible telescopes,
microscopes, sensory arrays, web cameras and ROVs, and various data
visualization tools to better understand how these tools are currently
being used and whether opportunities exist to extend access to
Internet2-enabled K-20 institutions in a mutually beneficial and
sustainable manner. Past examples of successful outreach efforts
include Lehigh University's Imaginations Project and Southern Skies
Digital Science Partnership, a collaborative project between the
University of Louisville, and the University of Southern Queensland.
