We could look into adding this. Would this be a 2.4 feature? Is it ok to be a one-off where you configure a config file, or is this a common use case that needs to be in the loader ui? Can someone please add a jira or let me know and I will.

Nudging this (or should I create a Jira ticket?): From:
[] on behalf of Peak, Jason R [] Hello Grouper users,
I'm new to Grouper, having recently joined the IAM team at Oregon State, and I'm using a recent loader issue to orient myself to the project:
Without warning, an SQL view was altered (incorrectly) such that the loader got zero results back from its query, and it (correctly) began unloading the grouper group membership.
I am aware of Fail-safe-1 and Fail-safe-2*; these are mostly what I think we need, but they both seem to work globally (applied to all loader jobs), whereas we would like to configure failsafe params per-job in order to accommodate the loading of groups with naturally volatile membership.
While I've found related threads in the archives of this list** and the grouper-dev list*** , the only mention I could find of this particular use-case, 'per-group failsafe', is in meeting notes from May 6, 2015:
Since I've not been able to find any follow-up to this in the list or in the wiki, I'm here to ask:
has this been done ? and if not, does anyone have a thought as to how this could be done?
Thanks, Jason Peak
