Hello,

 

                I am trying to get attestation to work (2.3.0), I think I have all the latest api and ui patches installed.    Something seems a bit off as its acting a but funny in the UI.

 

1. In order actually see Attestation in the more  actions on a folder, I have to do this sequence.
   1. Click on the folder, click on more actions,  (attestation does not show as a option) click on view audit log, Click on more actions again, and now Attestation shows in more actions, from there I can click on it and I get the options of turning it on etc…
2. Attestation does not appear under more actions for a group that is supposed to be under the folder that has Attestation turned on.
3. Looking at https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/Grouper/Grouper+attestation it says that at startup time attestationdev and attestationvaluedef attributes will be added to the system.

If I use the lite UI  I see grouper operations and see manage attributes and permissions, click on that I am presented with attributes management options, click on create or edit attribute definitions,

Search for attestation and both attributes mentioned are defined and set the way the screens shots are in the wiki.

 

Major question/issue

1. Why doesn’t attestation show in UI properly for either folder or group?  If I try to check the patches it says that all the UI patches have been installed/

 

2. I also did the “configure for first time use” entries and the loaderrunonejob mentioned.
3. Did a miss a step somewhere or did I hit a bug?
