Wayne, can you please do an “ls -latr” in “WEB-INF/grouperUi2/group” and let me know the results?  Maybe the patcher is copying the files and keeping the old file date, which is older than when you built grouper… if the patcher were to copy and change the file date to the current date then it would fix it since Tomcat would recompile the JSP…

This is a shot in the dark, but I've seen weird UI behavior like that caused by the Tomcat cache. After stopping Tomcat and deleting the work/Catalina/localhost/grouper folder, it fixed a problem I had where the UI wasn't showing what the JSP file said it should.

I put patches api 89 and ui 36.  Did not help.

 

I am in the group  sysadmingroup

 

I am an admin of the folder and subfolder  where I turned on attestation , again the only way I could get attestation option to show was to click on the folder, click more actions, click audit log, then go back, to more actions  then attestation shows as an option.

 

After the patch, I get this error after clicking on view audit log now…but attestation does still show up…  (so did something else break ;-) )

 

 

 

Click on attestation  and I turned it on for that folder.

 

 

 

Privileges on folder.

 

 

Here are the privileges on a group in that folder….

 

 

Attestation is not in the more actions pull down on the group.

First off please try the latest patches just released which fix some issues with attestation.

Hmmm, if you are an ADMIN on a folder, you should be able to see the menu item.  Are you an ADMIN on the folder?  Are you a sysadmin (wheel group member) of Grouper?

You need to be a READER on the subgroup to see the attestation menu.  Are you?

Yes, that is good.  You need to be a sysadmin to see the attributes.
