Ah, that is what I was thinking. I am in a test environment and my LDAP subject source is woefully out of date with DB I am running my loader job against.

I’ll get my LDAP refreshed and fix this issue.

The loader assumes the subjects are there… i.e. if you try to load a subject which is not resolvable, its an error.  Can you make them resolvable or remove them from the query?  It would be nice to ignore unresolvables, but based on our assumptions with subject sources having all subjects, it hasn’t been coded yet

Thanks,

Chris

Subject: [grouper-users] Grouper Loader Scheduling question

I have all my grouper loader jobs scheduled to run on the hour or once a day.

But watching the grouper_error.log file I see it continually running, trying to add members it can’t resolve in my subject source.

Does the loader just keep retrying to add these members if they aren’t in the subject source in the belief the subject will appear? Is there a way to control this? The cron settings in the loader job don’t seem to have any affect.

Thanks,

Bryan
