We would be interested in this discussion as well.

Use case: Role and Privilege objects are defined in Grouper and provisioned
to our LDAP Enterprise directory. We want to make these objects available to
a consuming app such as Plone CMS to manage access within the application.

Yes please. We assert 'roles' or group membership related to instructor,
student, and subject for iTunesU, and provision (hundreds of) role
definitions in LDAP for our document imaging system. We are not yet using
Grouper for provisioning, but considering it.
