Hello,
I need to upgrade from a Grouper deployment based mostly on
1.4.1 (includes some updates pulled from CVS) to 1.4.2, and at
the same time move the deployment from one host to another.
My plan is
- deploy 1.4.2 on the new host, on top of MySQL, and add
some dummy groups and memberships to test that everything
appears to be working
- drop the database on the new host from MySQL
- do a mysqldump on the old host
- do a mysqlimport of the dumped database state into the MySQL
on the new host
Given that I am careful with the configuration details, should
this plan work, or will there be issues with the database
schema?
Thanks,
Scott
