No applications I'm aware of natively integrate directly with grouper or 
signet, ie, they don't access the grouper or signet APIs.

The LDAP Provisioning Connector (Ldappc) provides a way to "publish" 
grouper groups and signet permissions to an LDAP directory. Many 
applications natively use group information in an LDAP directory. None 
directly use signet permissions - that art is too new.

People from some of the universities using or considering grouper post

To my knowledge, the University of Chicago is the only university 
currently engaged with implementing signet, though Cornell has also 
looked pretty deeply into it. However, Stanford and University of 
Washington have been operating privilege management systems like signet 
for several years, and MIT's Roles Database, which has been around for 
quite some time, is arguably comparable.

There is also some investigation, transcending individual campuses, of 
using grouper and/or signet as a basis for managing common resources 
shared among many collaborative activities. The Cancer BioInformatics 
Grid (caBIG) uses "grid grouper" (grouper API exposed as a grid service) 
to manage access to grid resources distributed among 60 or so national 
cancer research centers in the US. And several efforts have been talking 
about or prototyping collaboration platforms or VO management platforms 
that incorporate group and privilege management.
