I recently discovered 2 issues that impact using Oracle with Grouper in
our versions; has anyone else resolved these issues?

1. Oracle 9i does not provide a JDBC driver that is compatible with
Sun's JDK 1.5. Oracle's solution is to install 10g. We will probably go
this route, rather than reverting our JDK to 1.4, but I'm interested in
hearing what solutions others chose.

2. Really just a heads up that you'll find sooner or later...Oracle 9i
deprecated the oracle.jdbc.driver package, in favor of the oracle.jdbc
package.  The sources.xml and grouper.hibernate.properties files in the
Grouper 1.1. distribution both reference the older oracle.jdbc.driver
package; it's a simple enough change when you get there.
