[AI] (Chris) work on moving objects via web service

[AI] (DaveL) record ideas about handling categories (Brown’s case) based on the Feb. 11 Grouper call discussion on the Post PSP Provisioning page (TODO)

[AI] (Misagh and Chris) test the unmappable character  issue using Unicode. Then create wiki page to document the approach.

[AI] (DaveL) follow up on provisioning empty groups to LDAP to be sure the solution is documented (TODO)

[AI] (Dave) as we go, document areas where SCIM may need improvement so we can add to the wishlist for SCIM 3. (ongoing TODO)  Page with list

[AI] Chris produce training videos on upgrading and patching. [Upgrade one is done but has a quiz bug. Patching is 75% done]

[AI] Tom to bring pen testing need into TIER process (remains long term)

DISCUSSION

Removing self's privs to groups, folders, else? 

Pull Request waiting for part of this. Do we need a process to approve?

Chris proposed workaround approach, Misagh’s code appears to implement reasonably. But there’s a concern: doesn’t work that great in Eclipse. So maybe put an option in config that defaults to On and developers can turn off for their purposes? Also optimizes UI performance for high volume environments.

Provisioning very large membership

Limits need to be observed in various places in the grouper architecture. Connectors should have a strategy. WS has paging controls but could be improved. For PSP … document the workaround that was found, and focus effort on its replacement.

LDAP_GROUP_LIST displayName not updating

Substantial discussion. Decided to default the “Grouper ESB” format, make a “Grouper Header” subsection in which to stick Grouper-specific metadata. Recognize need for additional formats like SCIM, that we won’t solve this problem in one step. We may need some eventual changes to SCIM to make extension more useful.
