Try increasing the amount of memory available to the jvm running the
load, as in "java -Xmx256m ...".

If Tom's answer didn't resolve your problem could you provide more details:
* What version of Grouper are you using?
* What database are you using?
* How were you adding the members? Were you using the API or the UI?
