How different do you think the skins should be?  

When you say "admin menu items", do you mean the items in the dropdown menus?  That should be a another ticket.

I called it CoLink.  I suppose it's not too late to search/replace a different name in if you prefer something else.  

I'll update the wiki once we get the details hammered out.

Ultimately, the admin menu items should be configurable by the admin via a parallel (but separate) MVC interface. (I suppose if it's not too much effort, it might make sense to try to do that now.)

What name did you choose for the model?

As a reminder, the data model, list of all tables, and ERD (all in the wiki) will need to be updated.

As of right now, the admin can set in default links that will show up on
all pages by editing the file links.ctp.  The rest are tacked on after
that, ordered by the link order field on the edit page.  The menus have
also been updated to add a link to the link admin page for each CO.
