Internally at INternet2 we have dorked around with a very similar problem,
which we usually refer to as the "Michael Gettes problem" as he stays an
Internet2 member but moves from campus to campus.

We finally decided it is such a rare case that we should try not to paint
ourselves into any corners, but not concentrate on making a system flexible
enough to solve this problem.

Insert joke about the "Michael Gettes problem" here.
