Hi,

A few questions and remarks

<snip>

3 - Registry of Domesticated App (Heather, Benn)
     * particularly focusing on Levels of Domestication
https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/COmanage/Registry+of+Domesticated+Applications

Both me and Femke will work on this from the SURFnet site. Could you add Femke, () to this list? Femke starts on this in september, but it would save a lot communication if she is already on the list.

Oh, and by the way: we have code that provisions Confluence directly from Grouper based on the eppn of a user. It uses the Grouper REST API. Would you be interested in that?

Also in regard to the above page: I understand that presenting the level of domestication is a tricky issue. However I think it would be nice if it were possible to have an overview where one can quickly grasp the level of maturity in the blink of an eye. Could we give the different levels a 'common' name and reverse the order? So poorly the current "level5" domesticated app gets one or no points and level 1a gets 5 points or starts or something? That would make that 'Overall certification of Domestication' is no longer required as  having 5 points automatically is the highest level. For a rough example, see the attached screenshot.

Also 'Source' should be named 'License' I think? and of there is a source code repository available that should be referred to in a sperate page that this page links to with more detailed info.

Some other issues that came to mind:
- What if multiple implementations exist (as we seem to have for confluence already)
- What if multiple version of the same product have different states of domestication? In general I think we could solve this by only having the most current version of the product on the wiki domestication frontpage, and refer to older versions in a page behind the overview page.

Finally, could you add Maarten Kremers to this list as well? ()

cheers,
Niels
