Hello everyone,

COmanage Appliance Alpha Release Candidate 3 is now available for download at
http://comanage-dev.stanford.edu. This version should allow one to setup
COmanage and test the domesticated applications (and debug said apps and
underlying infrastructure). It is known to install under the following
conditions:

1. The system is run on a network where DHCP will hand it an IP that is
registered in DNS (the name is not important but the system must be able to
lookup its hostname by the IP it gets).
2. The system is configured to use TestShib 2

Other use-cases for the installation may work but have not yet been tested
and are very likely to contain bugs. After installation is complete, the
collabmin (i.e. the user who authenticated when testing the shib connection)
should be able to browse to /admin and invite other users.

Under the applications menu, the admin should be able to install applications
such as confluence or drupal buy installing the appropriate co-* package.
The domesticated applications HAVE NOT been tested at this point. I am
releasing this Alpha Candidate to recruit some assistance from people more
knowledgeable of the applications being domesticated.

To login to the box, one can ssh as root using the password "comanage."

Please email questions to the dev list and/or file bugs in Jira.
