Hello Jesper - These are all great thoughts that I will try to weave into the next draft of the program. I especially like the Tom, Delma, Maria Isabel introductions suggestion. And yes, these are some very big EU projects that would
nice to highlight. I will revisit the draft program tomorrow and see what modifications I could propose to incorporate your ideas. Best regards. -Ann

Subject: Sv: Confirming tomorrow's NPAPW meeting
Dear all
So sorry that I was not there on thursday. Turns out that all NPAPW-mails recently started ending up in my spam-filter... I will stay tuned for future meetings from now on.
I was, as Claudio, suprised by the proposed programme. As if it did not really reflect the talk we had, when we went through all the submissions.
Seems like Morten Frodjos presentation is the only one that made it through. I would have loved to see Delma Rodriguez' and Toms Gormans presentations also. And there are many panels... But revisiting the programme submissions, I can see that there are actually
not so many suggestions for presentations.
Maybe some of the panels could be opened with inspirational short talks. Here is a suggestion:
"Theatre Enabling Panel" Introductionary presentaion (Immersive telepresence in Theatre) by Tom Gorman
"Co-Creation Panel" Introductionary presentation (Convergenses in performing arts) Delma Rodriguez.
And maybe Maria Isabel could make a short insparational introduction to "Dance enabling Technologies"
Finally, I think that the educational-related content could be weighted higher than in the proposed programme. So it would be great to find a spot where I could introduce findings of the Intermusic project (Milan, Vilnius and Copenhagen Academies) and Claudio
could present the Swing-project (Trieste, Vienna, Ljubljana). These could be quite short, but as they are two quite big EU-projects very much related to the NPAPW, it would be great if they could find a place. Maybe as an introductionary talk to "Higher Education
Politics" if it is relevant there.
In stead, we could also try to fin a time-slot for a handfull of 5-10 min lightning talks.
So that was all the thoughs from Copenhagen:-)
All the best, Jesper

well then, let's be sure to identify what's missing and adjust our sails. Talk to you all soon. -Ann

Hi all,
Im a bit suprised by the proposed schedule: I see many panels... too many
panels I shall say, and littel space for the presentations and updates
that we have either as invited or as submitted. Furthermore, there is too
much unbalanced focus on the artistic part vs the network(ing) part, too
also in the panels.
in short, it does not seem to fit in the usual "spirit" on NPAPWS where
people are presented with possible techologies, are presented with use
cases and discuss a together on how to use and create what's avaiable and
what's missing and still has to be invented or created.
so... see you soon!

on this past month. Mary has vetted this with EMPAC staff for viability so this should serve as good foundation. Let’s plan to discuss tomorrow.
