Subject: Cloud Services Working Group

Description:
Co-sponsored by Internet2 and EDUCAUSE, this working group is intended to provide the R&E communities a forum for collaboration, coordination, and the sharing of best practices as they relate to the adoption and use of cloud services. Open to broad participation, the CSWG has a primary focus on the business and organizational challenges of cloud services adoption and to facilitate coordination with other constituency groups working on related issues from the Internet2 and EDUCAUSE community. The active members of the CSWG will drive the agenda of the group--and self-forming subgroups--based on the needs of their own institutions and those of the whole higher education community. In addition to exploring topics of broad interest, it is expected that groups will also emerge with specific interest in a class of service or in a specific offering from a service provider, with some eventually funneled into the Internet2 NET+ Services portfolio.
