Hi Mike,
I'd like to join the call sometime but the timing isn't too good from England. However, I'm more interested in technical issues so maybe I can pass for now.
Also, if you have interest in leading a project, or have suggestions for
improving the WG, please contact one of us directly
(
or
)
or we can discuss your
ideas or interests during one of these conference calls.
We are beginning to use VoIP (and video) in earnest at Bristol, including both a testbed (mine) and a service to outlying sites. We're going mainly for SIP as a control/signalling infrastructure for future development but there is still some H.323 lurking about.
I'm interested in getting hooked up to peer gatekeeper/SERs so that we can look at connectivity outside Bristol. Is there an international project in progress that I could fit into? I'll check also with the folks at UKERNA.
Regards,
Alistair
