The PIC demo server at picdemo.internet2.edu is back online. There are  
a number of details still to be addressed (certificates, server-to- 
server communication) but at least we're back.

I also managed to convince jwchat to install. You can see it at:

        https://picdemo.internet2.edu/

... it expects just your username (not your entire jid) and password  
for the picdemo OpenFire installation. All accounts from the SMM have  
been preserved; if you set up an account for that meeting, then you  
still have it.
