*Discussion*

The group discussed plans for XMPP development:
- Mark talked to a Windows developer about his proposed presence-agent
architecture. The developer confirmed that the architecture will work under
Windows, although the lack of any Windows equivalent to Growl
(http://growl.info/) will make things harder.
- Mark noted that the presence-agent code is close to being ready for PIC to
experiment with. [ACTION] Mark will post his presence-agent code on the web.
- The group agreed to keep the jabberwocky server
(jabberwocky.net.isc.upenn.edu) purely experimental, not depending on it for
any
production-like uses. [ACTION] Mark will resend jabberwocky account holders
their jabberwocky account info, and note what they will need to experiment
with
the presence agent (e.g., what version of python is needed).
- [ACTION] Ben T. will talk to Candace and Rodger about doing some
presence-agent testing.
