Steve,

I installed on voice.internet2.edu and created SRVs:

_xmpp-server._tcp.internet2.edu. 86400 IN SRV 5 0 5269 voice.internet2.edu.
_xmpp-client._tcp.internet2.edu. 86400 IN SRV 5 0 5222 voice.internet2.edu.
_jabber._tcp.internet2.edu. 86400 IN SRV 5 0 5269 voice.internet2.edu.

both to play with Wildfire and to use it as the Internet2 "XMPP.edu"
server, if it turned out to be reasonable.  My intent was not to
create a sandbox server for the PIC WG, though it would be trivial to
create a snadbox instance on pals-dev, if you like.
