Can I add:

- Ideas to grow membership - attract and retain member schools
- New presence and integrated communications product evaluation
- Gauge group interest in topics: location based services, calendaring, group instant messaging, authentication and security, privacy, presence-spamming prevention, further development of PA module, PA module and IP Multimedia Subsystem.

As was discussed on the call last week, today's call will focus on
assessing the strategic direction and deliverables of the PIC workgroup,
and to provide those who cannot attend next week's in person meeting in
Philiadelphia. The agenda that I have proposed for workgroup meeting
will serve as today's agenda:

1. Review the current charter:
http://pic.internet2.edu/charter.html

Some Questions:
- Is the charter in need of revisions?
- If So, Which Sections?
- Should only RFC 3261 based solutions be in scope?
- What role should mobile devices play?
- What role should gateways (media, presence) play in our
strategy?
- What should the emphasis on rich presence be?
- What role should commercially available systems play in
Workgroup activities?
- Emphasize federation of systems?
- Should the workgroup offer a Commons like core infrastructure
to members?

Some Logistical Questions:
- Should we modify Meeting Time, Length and Frequency?
- Agenda Format: Should we reserve a spot on every agenda for a
topical discussion such as P2P, Mergers, Related News Items etc.
- Guest Speakers?
Please feel free to add to this list.
