draft-koskelainen-sip-group-00.txt, which expired quite a while ago.
Hasn't there been any further work on it? How is SIP going to take off
without group chat?
I think this can just be done by a session based IM.

Session based IM can support conferencing but page-mode IM cannot.
In page-mode, it's not able to find out whether a user is still in the
chat room or not. Currently, sipc only support page-mode IM.
