Ego te absolvo.
Given the general interest on yesterday's call in handsets, I think we
should still keep them on the radar screen, even it we have to buy
fewer. Does Clarisys also only work with Windows, or will it work with
Linux, too? If it's Windows-only, it might be worth trying to get a feel
for relative value vis a vis the Plantronics model Steve mentioned.
Whatever happens in handsetland, I'd like to press forward with some
form of Linux-capable pda for ~1/2 the money. We should keep in mind
that one of the things we might poke at is: what is the UA of the next
~20 years going to look like? It may not be exactly like today's iPAQs,
but it seems to me worth our time (& $) to get some experience.
You know, there is an interesting form of economics going on here.
We're given $5K and it may take more value than that in our time to
figure out how to spend it :)
