Jamey,
How are we handling the sliding walls? For example, a user might be
in "Marriott Ballroom, 1" when the wall is open between 1 & 2. If
your ALS stuff calls Artem's session resolver with "Marriott Ballroom,
1", it will get a null response. If, however, it calls it with
"Marriott Ballroom, 1 & 2", it will get the correct session name and
time remaining.
We almost need a tree structure of room containers. E.g.
Indy_Marriott
|--First_Floor
|--Second_Floor
|--Marriott_Ballroom,_1_+_2
| |--Marriott_Ballroom,_2
| |--Marriott_Ballroom,_1
|--West_Hallway
The ALS would start at a leaf, issuing queries to Artem's session
resolver and walking up the tree until it got a non-nil response. At
the root, the response might be: "Internet2 Fall 2003 Member Meeting".
