Hello Ben/Jamey/Jiri:

I am assuming that aliases for the various salons are not yet
configured, as the first l0 links on the portal (the various salons)
still reference SIP URIs of the form
sip:
(the phones
themselves) rather than
sip:
or sip:

(the edial conference).

When I place a call to any of the
sip:
or
sip:
URIs I get the music from the Edial conference
server. When I place a call to any of the

URIs (which
happens when clicking a portal Salon link), I get the 513 - Verbosity
limit exceeded message.

As a sidenote: What type of phones are being used in the salons?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Well, I'm confused. The links to the rooms have been on the portal
all along. When Jamey is finished coding you'll click on salon_1 and
be re-directed to the edial conference associated with Salon 1 via alias
in SER. Here's the alias table listing for salon_1.

mysql> select username,contact from aliases where username='salon_1';
+----------+---------------------------------------------+
| username | contact |
+----------+---------------------------------------------+
| salon_1 | sip:session_<conf.code>@edial.internet2.edu |
+----------+--------------------------------- --------+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)
