Does anybody know if a SAP storm occurred on June 2-3 starting around 24:00 on the 2nd EST?
We had a strange firewall failure on our I2 Multicast connection, and I am just trying to eliminate things.
Thank you;

Would someone from Univ. Paris 13 want to share their experience? Jean-Francois Florence perhaps?
Can you tell me if you see annoucements ( in v4 and in v6 ) from UP13 ?
Notice that s it s nt I who founded the bug, but one guy of my team : Michael Fortier.I said him to post on wg-multicast s list.

Hi,
I can see Univ-Paris13 on the ipv6 beacon: http://netmon.grnet.gr/matrix/
I can't see anything on any ipv4 beacon.
If you mean v4/v6 sap announcements, I will have to check on that later.
I hope Michael will post to the list about his findings/experience with miniSAPserver :)
Here is the message I posted Friday... but everybody didn't receive it.
I tested the miniSapserver 0.3.4 found here :
http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/miniSAPserver/
This version has some bugs.
DO NOT USE IT
Problem was in the announcement interval.
I corrected and now the intervalley of dispatch is 30 seconds (fixed).
You can find sources here :
http://exp-videos.univ-paris13.fr/src/minisapserver-0.3.4b.tar.gz
I'm under Linux. Commands to install :
#./configure (--prefix=...)
# make && make install
# ./minisapserver -d -c sap.cfg
sap.cfg exemple with 2 announces :
[global]
sap_delay=55
sap_ttl=255
[program]
name=Video SD 352x264 - 35 ans P13 - IPv4
user=videolan
machine=exp-videos.univ-paris13.fr

I created a blog which lists all information
I shall give you the url as soon as it will be made
