on mac osx 10.4.11 ,  VLC gives me :

cdda warning: could not open catstream2.cat.uaf.edu:polar

main warning: no access2 module matching "mms" could be loaded

main error: no suitable access module for `mms://catstream2.cat.uaf.edu:polar'

quicktime does nothing with mms://catstream2.cat.uaf.edu:polar
