I've actually participated in these briefings and have working with OSTN schools for the last year or two.  I'd be happy to share what I know (which may not be much).  It'd take about 5 minutes on the phone ... or 2 hours if I have to type it out for email ...

Sadly, I know nothing more than before. I have come to believe that they're being intentionally vague on their website, and I found out that they had some sort of invitation-only, confidential briefing that included a number of NYSERNet member schools, but not NYSERNet ourselves. They're beginning to worry me, quite frankly. . .
