In the IANA list of assigned multicast addresses, 225.1.2.3 is in a block (several /8's worth) marked 'reserved'. I think it's valid to treat it as a martian and not only filter MSDP for that range but also not even forward traffic destined to it.

It seems that the Altiris client has been programmed by default
(but can be changed) to use a multicast address, 225.1.2.3. Is this one a
candidate for MSDP filtering?
