Sorry I didn't get to this earlier. I have isolated the network involved. I will need to find the user and see what is up. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please let me know if it isn't cleared up, I think it is but I might have missed something:)

Thanks,
Jay

Hi.

I'm seeing one source annoucing at a rate of almost 1Mbps.
#sh ip mroute ac
Active IP Multicast Sources - sending >= 4 kbps

Group: 224.2.127.254, (SAP.MCAST.NET)
Source: 164.107.170.18 (me170018-dhcp.eng.ohio-state.edu)
Rate: 100 pps/912 kbps(1sec), 1000 kbps(last 56 secs), 961 kbps(life
avg)
I see it too :

Source: 164.107.170.18 (me170018-dhcp.eng.ohio-state.edu)
Rate: 111 pps/1012 kbps(1sec), 993 kbps(last 15 secs), 168 kbps(life avg)

What's the best way of filtering this traffic without shuting all the
announcements?

Thank you

Luís Marta.
